Harvest is a time of hard work and accomplishment. For 6 weeks throughout
September and October, the Crane Creek family was out in the fields
harvesting what will become the wines of our future. When it was all done
and over, we brought in approximately 40 tons of grapes. Once the grapes
were all in and the worries behind us, it was time to celebrate!
There was no shortage of fun at this year's annual Harvest Festival at Crane
Creek Vineyards. People of all ages came out to be a part of the many
activities that were going on. Russell took people on hayrides throughout
the property, David cooked everyone lunch, Eric gave tours of the winery and
directed the grape stomping, while the ladies of Crane Creek manned the
Tasting Room. A special thanks to Roots & Branches for coming out again and
providing the entertainment for our guests! Their music and humor were
enjoyed by all. If you missed this year's Harvest Festival, mark your
calendar for the 3rd weekend in October for next year!
