Crane Creek Vineyards' Hellbender Red wins a silver at the 2010 International Eastern Wine Competition
One of the oldest and largest competitions in the United States, the International Eastern Wine Competition is held each May in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The event judges over 2,200 entries with wines from 16 countries and 34 states. Crane Creek's 2007 Hellbender Red won a silver medal in the Norton category, making this bold red wine our most decorated varietal!
Crane Creek Vineyards wins a gold at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
Crane Creek is very pleased to announce the results of the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This was the largest competition of American wines ever, with over 4,900 wines submitted and judged by a panel of 60 wine experts. There were 480 wines entered in the Native American Red category and our 2007 Hellbender Red (Norton) won the gold medal. Our second medal in the competition was a Bronze awarded to the 2008 Villard Noir in the Dry Rose category. Needless to say, we are very proud of the honor and recognition of Crane Creek Vineyards in this very prestigious event.
WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION

Many came out to Crane Creek and braved the cooler weather and helped us bring light into the longest night of the year by lighting the great bonfire. Many winter goodies were enjoyed, and of course all the last minute shopping. A great time was had by all! See you for the celebration again on Friday December 21, 2012...mark that calendar now!
2011 HARVEST FESTIVAL

Harvest is one of the most important times of the year on a vineyard. It takes the help of the entire Crane Creek family to get out there and harvest all of our grapes. Our Harvest Festival is a way to celebrate the bounty that we have received from the earth. We celebrate the end of harvest by inviting all of the extended Crane Creek family and friends to the vineyard for a day of wine, food, and fun! Along with this, there is all sorts of barnyard fun including hay rides throughout the property, grape stomping, fishing and a kids arts and crafts tent. Check out the pictures from this year's festival. Family and friends came out and enjoyed a beautiful day at the vineyard!
